Article by Frances Harrison (NZ) originally posted on her blog... When I was younger I pooh-poohed Line Dancing as something for old folks who couldn't mange other forms of dance. Now that I'm not so young I must admit to being wrong. There's currently a resurgence of this western/rodeo/cowboy style of dance where you don't need a partner. Tik Tok is presenting it to much younger and very enthusiastic generations.

New Year's with Sue and Mike

Letter to the Editor - Another year has rolled around already. I’m sure the years are getting shorter! Five years in a row now, we have made the trip to Richmond at New Year. (🤫 - it’s well worth it.) The inaugural Line Dance New Year celebrations and get-together by Sue & Mike Fisher, Richmond, has been enjoyed by heaps of people traveling from as far afield as Hamilton & Invercargill, with everywhere in between (and a number of locals). It has been going for a number of years.
